fun with my little model ♥ divercion con mi modelito

Yesterday we had a little photo shoot.  And even though it was super duper hot and humid as can be, we managed to have some fun.  You kinda have to with a silly little model like mine. 

Ayer tuvimos una mini sesión de fotos.  Y a pesar de que estaba extremamente caliente y húmedo el día, nos divertimos mucho.  Ya si no, cuando uno tiene una modelito tan payasa. 

Advisory:  There are probably more photos that you would want to see of my lovely little model.  I just love so many of them which make it very hard to narrow them down (and I did, trust me), so please do bare with this mama.  What am I to do?  I love her so.

Advertencia:  Probablemente veas mas fotos de las necesarias, pero me encantaron tantas que fue difícil tratar de escoger menos (y les aseguro que no son todas).  Es que, les pido paciencia, pues que se le puede hacer cuando una mami quiere tanto a su nena.  Como dicen por ahí- estoy como la mama cuerva.  Jeje.

 

By the time we got to the starry night tutu (blues), not only was she tired, but oh so hot.  Can you tell? So I did what any mama would do when in desperate need to keep her little one's attention longer.  I bribed her with a lollypop.  Ahem.  It worked! 

 

Para cuando llegamos a tomar fotos de la faldita azul (noche de estrellas) mi modelito ya estaba super cansada y caliente. ¿Se le nota? Es que tuve que hacer lo que cualquier mama haria como ultimo recurso, para continuar la atención de su nena.  La chantajee con una paleta.  ajem.  ¡Funciono!

Enjoying her paleta (lollipop)- which by the way I love.  They are by Yummy Earth Organic .  Oh so tasty and good for you too! They even have some spicy flavors.  My favorite!

I've been talking about it for several years now.  Thinking about it for even longer.  But for what ever reason I just didn't have the guts to do it.  You know,  start my own little business.  Until now.  And for that I have to thank several people.   (So please bare with me.)  For my  Blog Hermanas (you know who you are) they've inspired me to push forward after seeing all their energy and all they do.  Gracias! Especially Angelica from New Latina, that without knowing it, she once shared a comment with us that really stayed with me:  A friend of her's told her in response to her fear of starting a new business-  "If it scares you, than you should do it!" Well, heck I did it.  Then there is my Comadre that very straight forward told me, "Stop with all the excuses already and just go for it.  What are you waiting for?"  She's so right!  And to my lovelies for putting up with mami being occupied way more then they are use to.

Ya tengo años hablando de esto.  Pensando, todavía mas tiempo.  Pero por no se que razón no me había animado.  Hasta ahorita.  Y para eso tengo que agradecerle a varias personas (es que les pido paciencia).  A mis Hermanas Blogueras (ustedes saben quien son) quien me han inspirado a moverme hacia delante, después de ver toda su energía y todo lo que hacen.  Thank you! En especial a Angelica de New Latina, que un dia sin saberlo compartió un comentario con nosotros que se me quedo muy grabado:  Un amigo le contesto al hablar de su miedo de comenzar un nuevo reto- "Si te da miedo, entonces tienes que hacerlo."  Lo hice.  Y luego esta mi Comadre, que me dijo firmemente, "Para de encontrar escusas, y sigue adelante.  ¿Que esperas?" Tiene toda la razón.  Y a mis nenes por aguantar que su mami se la lleve mas ocupada de lo acostumbrado.
